Reclaimed Wood (Pine) Bench - Handmade In Denver

$350

Handmade solid pine reclaimed/upcycled wood-top bench. Perfect to add a little style and reclaimed feel to your entry. Measures 11.5" wide x 52" long x 19.75" high The wood was salvaged from a the construction site for the Denver RTD Light Rail Extension. It was a crane mat that was used to set multiple bridges on the project. It has some great character and definitely provides a story. Turn the legs whichever way you want to give it a unique look. Everything is smooth to the touch, while maintaining the texture and character of the reclaimed wood. It has a nice, naturally dark brown color and rustic look from it's age and has been sanded and sanded and sanded so there are no parts that will snag your pants while sitting on it. There are also some knots in it that look great after refinishing it. If you're looking for wood tops only or maybe a different height, just send over a custom request and let me know what you're looking for. We can hook you up!

It's simple - I enjoy all things handmade. It started with a house. I spent a year on a full remodel of our home in Dallas, and once that was done, my attention turned to other hands-on, creative and repurposing projects.

I started with leather working and while that is still a favorite pastime, I've begun to thoroughly enjoy woodworking. There are two parts of the process that I really enjoy - first, the thrill of he hunt; finding used, weathered, or otherwise previously purposes wood. Then, I love watching it come to love all over again; wood that someone else has written off is turned into a beautiful table, stool, or other furniture.

If you see something that sparks your own creative mind, shoot me a message and we'll see if I can make a custom run - maybe you or a loved one has something that needs replaced or updated.
