Iron Shelf Brackets, Custom Steel Bracket, Industrial/Farmhouse Brackets
These sturdy steel shelf brackets are individually cold bent for optimum strength. They also feature rounded corners, deburred edges, and front lips to hold shelves in place. Highest quality custom made brackets on the market and ideal for medium duty requirements. KEY FEATURES - Made from 1-1/4" wide solid flat bar USA steel. - Individually cold bent for optimum strength. - Each bracket includes two mounting holes in the vertical leg. - Available in a variety of sizes and finishes. Brackets are designed to fit the depth of the shelf, when measured from the wall to the edge of the board. They are made slightly larger than actual shelf depth (for example, a 6" wide bracket will be slightly larger than 6 inches from the wall to the inside lip in order to accommodate a 6" shelf comfortably). PLEASE NOTE: - All brackets are handmade; so there may be slight variations. Please allow a minimum 1/8 inch tolerance for indicated measurements. - Large orders may take 2-4 weeks to complete. - Brackets should be installed into wall studs for secure fastening. If a wall stud is not available, use appropriate anchors. If you are unsure of how to properly install them, please consult a contractor or skilled handyman.

A bit of (tongue-in-cheek) personal history:
When I was 9 years old, I stepped on a board with a rusty nail and became hooked on woodworking.
When I was 12 years old, I watched my father arc welding a project in his fabrication shop. After the blindness subsided, I bought a welding helmet and went to work . . .
The first time I accidentally hit my thumb with a hammer, I yelled at the top of my lungs in a foreign language. The second time, I went out and bought a smaller hammer.
If I had a dollar for every splinter I've pulled out of my hands, I could go to law school. Then I would be able to sue the trees.

The finished 'railroad spike' shelf&items rack is truly magnificent.....it is beautiful! Both the craftsmanship and the 'old wood patina' is most pleasing to the eye. I am overly pleased. ......and, it makes my leather furniture look good. I would suggest to you that my 4spike length shelf is quite heavy (quality old wood) - and care be taken to its mounting. I am going to secure mine to wall studs. I wish to have ordered a 5spike length - but still quite satisfied. "well done Ray!"
