CUSTOM MADE MODERN INDUSTRIAL FARMHOUSE BENCH
Another RFH original design! This modern industrial farmhouse bench features thick, kiln-dried solid wood for seating and a sturdy, completely seal welded steel base. Choose from a number of premium wood finishes, including the weathered gray shown. The bench shown measures 60 inches wide, 17 inches deep, and is 30 inches in height (for bar height seating). It can be made in heights for tables/desks, bars, and counters, as well as in different widths and depths. Also makes a great console/sofa table.

A bit of (tongue-in-cheek) personal history:
When I was 9 years old, I stepped on a board with a rusty nail and became hooked on woodworking.
When I was 12 years old, I watched my father arc welding a project in his fabrication shop. After the blindness subsided, I bought a welding helmet and went to work . . .
The first time I accidentally hit my thumb with a hammer, I yelled at the top of my lungs in a foreign language. The second time, I went out and bought a smaller hammer.
If I had a dollar for every splinter I've pulled out of my hands, I could go to law school. Then I would be able to sue the trees.

The finished 'railroad spike' shelf&items rack is truly magnificent…..it is beautiful! Both the craftsmanship and the 'old wood patina' is most pleasing to the eye. I am overly pleased.
……and, it makes my leather furniture look good. I would suggest to you that my 4spike length shelf is quite heavy (quality old wood) - and care be taken to its mounting. I am going to secure mine to wall studs. I wish to have ordered a 5spike length - but still quite satisfied.
