CUSTOM MADE "OLD WORLD" CASTLE STYLE SOLID WOOD GATES
The large arch top double gate shown was made for a luxury resort and spa in Scottsdale, Arizona. Built with thick, kiln-dried solid wood planks, it features hand-forged iron hinges, gate pulls, latches, cane bolts, and ornamental iron elements. The rustic "Old World" appearance makes it ideal for a number of architectural aesthetics. Each gate is unique and designed for specific entry and aesthetic requirements. I will advise you on options/requirements to ensure your satisfaction and a trouble-free installation.
Gates are available in single or double swing styles, with arch or square tops, and other custom features. Your cost will depend on the design, size, hardware and finish options, etc. and typically range from $4,000+ for single gates to $8,000+ for double gates.

A bit of (tongue-in-cheek) personal history:
When I was 9 years old, I stepped on a board with a rusty nail and became hooked on woodworking.
When I was 12 years old, I watched my father arc welding a project in his fabrication shop. After the blindness subsided, I bought a welding helmet and went to work . . .
The first time I accidentally hit my thumb with a hammer, I yelled at the top of my lungs in a foreign language. The second time, I went out and bought a smaller hammer.
If I had a dollar for every splinter I've pulled out of my hands, I could go to law school. Then I would be able to sue the trees.

The finished 'railroad spike' shelf&items rack is truly magnificent.....it is beautiful! Both the craftsmanship and the 'old wood patina' is most pleasing to the eye. I am overly pleased. ......and, it makes my leather furniture look good. I would suggest to you that my 4spike length shelf is quite heavy (quality old wood) - and care be taken to its mounting. I am going to secure mine to wall studs. I wish to have ordered a 5spike length - but still quite satisfied. "well done Ray!"
