My handcrafted gates provide beautiful passages to courtyards, gardens, wine cellars, and more. They're built with select kiln-dried wood that's painstakingly hand-distressed and finished for an authentic aged look. I also make the unique hand-forged hardware and ornamental iron elements (hinges, pulls/handles, latches, clavos, etc.).

Approximate cost for a single swing gate can range from $4,000 to $8,000. Double swing gate prices can range from $8,000 to $20,000.

A bit of (tongue-in-cheek) personal history:
When I was 9 years old, I stepped on a board with a rusty nail and became hooked on woodworking.
When I was 12 years old, I watched my father arc welding a project in his fabrication shop. After the blindness subsided, I bought a welding helmet and went to work . . .
The first time I accidentally hit my thumb with a hammer, I yelled at the top of my lungs in a foreign language. The second time, I went out and bought a smaller hammer.
If I had a dollar for every splinter I've pulled out of my hands, I could go to law school. Then I would be able to sue the trees.

The finished 'railroad spike' shelf&items rack is truly magnificent…..it is beautiful! Both the craftsmanship and the 'old wood patina' is most pleasing to the eye. I am overly pleased.
……and, it makes my leather furniture look good. I would suggest to you that my 4spike length shelf is quite heavy (quality old wood) - and care be taken to its mounting. I am going to secure mine to wall studs. I wish to have ordered a 5spike length - but still quite satisfied.
