These beam trestle style table and bench legs are made from heavy gauge steel tubing and thick plates to mount wood table and desk tops, as well as wood bench seats. Features include threaded steel rods with blacksmith style nuts for attaching a wood beam/plank between legs. Ideal for a modern industrial farmhouse style that looks great in traditional, rustic, and other settings. Sold as a pair. KEY FEATURES/OPTIONS + Size options to fit your particular table top length and width. + Order with a custom fitted wood beam or use a wood beam/plank you already have.* *You can also order legs without the mounting holes, if you do not plan to attach a wood connecting beam. + Finish options include raw steel and industrial quality powder coated steel (many colors/textures available). + Also available with mounting holes for attaching wood floor planks. For a delivered cost estimate, please provide the following: 1. Length, width, and thickness of your wood table top or bench seat. 2. Desired total height for your table or bench (includes thickness of your wood top). Note: Standard dining table heights are 29-31 inches. Bench seating heights are typically between 18 and 20 inches. 3. Wood beam height (width) and thickness, if you plan to use your own connecting beam between the legs. 4. A bit of (tongue-in-cheek) personal history:
When I was 9 years old, I stepped on a board with a rusty nail and became hooked on woodworking.
When I was 12 years old, I watched my father arc welding a project in his fabrication shop. After the blindness subsided, I bought a welding helmet and went to work . . .
The first time I accidentally hit my thumb with a hammer, I yelled at the top of my lungs in a foreign language. The second time, I went out and bought a smaller hammer.
If I had a dollar for every splinter I've pulled out of my hands, I could go to law school. Then I would be able to sue the trees.

The finished 'railroad spike' shelf&items rack is truly magnificent.....it is beautiful! Both the craftsmanship and the 'old wood patina' is most pleasing to the eye. I am overly pleased. ......and, it makes my leather furniture look good. I would suggest to you that my 4spike length shelf is quite heavy (quality old wood) - and care be taken to its mounting. I am going to secure mine to wall studs. I wish to have ordered a 5spike length - but still quite satisfied. "well done Ray!"
