It features hand-distressed solid wood with a durable finish and powder coated ironwork. Headboards are available to complement any size bed — or choose something to hang on its own as wall art that can integrate with a variety of interior designs and décor. Individually made-to-order, my headboards and wall art can be custom made in a variety of designs, sizes, wood finishes, and metal finishes. Prices start at just $650. NOTE: Wall mounted headboards are not attached to the bed. They can be positioned as desired and securely mounted to walls with the included hardware. The heavy-duty rubber pads on the steel frame will protect your wall's surface from scratches.

My background in art, design, and fabrication allows me to apply different methods and materials for projects. I work with wood and metal to create distinctive items that will exceed my clients expectations.

A bit of (tongue-in-cheek) personal history:
When I was 9 years old, I stepped on a board with a rusty nail and became hooked on woodworking.

When I was 12 years old, I watched my father arc welding a project in his fabrication shop. After the blindness subsided, I bought a welding helmet and went to work . . .

The first time I accidentally hit my thumb with a hammer, I yelled at the top of my lungs in a foreign language. The second time, I went out and bought a smaller hammer.

If I had a dollar for every splinter I've pulled out of my hands, I could go to law school. Then I would be able to sue the trees.

The project was well packaged, and came to me delivered as undamaged. The finished 'railroad spike' shelf&items rack is truly magnificent.....it is beautiful! Both the craftsmanship and the 'old wood patina' is most pleasing to the eye. I am overly pleased. ......and, it makes my leather furniture look good. I would suggest to you that my 4spike length shelf is quite heavy (quality old wood) - and care be taken to its mounting. I am going to secure mine to wall studs. I wish to have ordered a 5spike length - but still quite satisfied. "well done Ray!"
