This versatile bedside / overbed table is perfect for small spaces. Beautifully handcrafted with dovetail joints and tapered edges, its classic style fits well with virtually any decor. It's lightweight enough to move with ease, yet sturdy enough to use as a nightstand and overbed table every day. The table converts in seconds by simply turning and sliding one side between the mattress and box springs. (We also provide two plastic slips to protect linens and make the sliding motion even smoother.) It's easy enough even for children and seniors to manage! We recommend this table for anyone who frequently needs a work or eating surface while either sitting in bed or on a couch with overstuffed sofa cushions -- college students, families with a chronically ill or recovering loved one at home, etc. The overbed height works for people of varying size/body types, but if you are looking for a table for a child or bariatric patient, let us know. We can adjust the size to meet your needs. The table pictured is made of Poplar, but we offer a variety of woods and finishes and are happy to work with you to build the perfect item. Height: 25" Width: 21" Depth: 16" Please contact us directly for custom orders, and allow 14 days for us to craft your table. Will deliver up to 200 miles for $50 or within 50 miles for free. Crosscut Joinery stems from a strong artistic family background and desire to create. I’ve been designing and building wood products both professionally and as a hobby for more than 20 years. I truly enjoy all aspects of woodworking – from choosing the right wood for a project through all the necessary steps to create a high-quality, one-of-a-kind item.
I’m inspired by the simple and true lines of the Shaker style but do not limit myself to one type of design. I find that I build what interests me, whether it is a blanket chest made from rare sapele wood; a Shaker side table of walnut; or memory boxes built from interesting finds in my lumber stack. These days I am able to build what I like -- I hope you like it as well.
