3 Opening Natural Reclaimed Wood Picture Frame (4x4)
Made from reclaimed wood at least 75 years old, this frame holds 3 4"x4" photos and can be displayed horizontally or vertically. 'Reclaimed' frames have the most minimal finish of any in my shop. All I do is dust off the wood, cut a rabbet out of the back and put glass, backing & hangers. I do not paint, stain, seal or otherwise alter the finish that weather, bugs, and time create. What you see is what you get. Each frame comes with conservation glass and acid-free backing- as well as a hanger for walls and a stand for tables (due to the odd proportion- this frame can only stand horizontally. It can be hung horizontally or vertically). Just ask me about custom sizes or special orders. Cheers!

I make custom frames and display cases for things that people love. Svelte frames for awkward items, custom cases for cherished sculptures, frames made out of wood pulled from your grandpa's barn, and so on and so on.
Even with the bewildering variety of frames available at most 'custom frame shops'- none possess the truly handmade touch of the Art that they are going around. I, however, work with clients from design, to wood selection- profile to finish.
With 13 years in custom framing and a background in graphic design, I combine modern tools with timeless techniques and carefully selected materials to create absolutely unique and custom projects.

Considering it was the first time Blackrabbet had tried this particular project, it came in a very timely manner. Overall, I was very impressed with the craftsmanship of the piece, as well as how often Marlowe updated me on the process of building it. I'm very glad Marlowe found my project and decided to make it for me!

He also communicated with me frequently and clearly, showing much better professionalism than many makers on this site. The project did take quite a long time and was pricey, but you get what you pay for! I love the finished product and plan to work with Marlowe again.
