Missouri Forest

$8,000

Privacy was of utmost importance since the floor plan of the home allowed for a unhindered view into two floors. At the owner's request these entryway panels were created to capture a Missouri forest scene for his lake house outside of Kansas City. The flora and fauna depicted in these panels were meticulously researched through the Missouri Department of Conservation to ensure they're native species. The home owner's personal aesthetic leaned toward the romantic landscapes of the 19th century Hudson River School painters.

This Maker has consistently demonstrated excellence in craftsmanship and customer service.

After graduating from the Kansas City Art Institute I finished with an MA from the University of Kansas and completed a 2 year apprenticeship. I established the art glass studio in 1995.

Since that time I have created pieces for private homes, public and liturgical spaces, as well as outdoor public memorials.

I am fascinated with light and manipulating its effect on the surrounding environment.

I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients to create pieces that capture the essence of the space they occupy and the energy the client wants to achieve in the space.

I am very interested in working outside my hometown and will relish any opportunity to do so.
