This panel was created for a second floor bathroom window and is located in front of the soaking tub. The client's requirements included privacy from the home next door without loosing the light or view of the sky. It features small upgrades, hand spun rondels and German mouth blown glass.

After graduating from the Kansas City Art Institute I finished with an MA from the University of Kansas and completed a 2 year apprenticeship. I established the art glass studio in 1995.
Since that time I have created pieces for private homes, public and liturgical spaces, as well as outdoor public memorials.
I am fascinated with light and manipulating its effect on the surrounding environment.
I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients to create pieces that capture the essence of the space they occupy and the energy the client wants to achieve in the space.
I am very interested in working outside my hometown and will relish any opportunity to do so.

For Prairie StyleI have thought I left this review more than once, but am back because I want to express how happy I am with Cara's work. I'll admit to being a very difficult customer for this project. I made color and design suggestions that Cara dutifully carried out all along the way only to have me not like my own ideas. The final agreed design is not only better than when we accepted the project, but makes me smile every time I see it. The color choices and small craftsmanship details are really wonderful and I love the result. I'd highly recommend Cara for your project.
