Hand Carved Accent Table

$750

This table was created from various sources. The table top is hand carved and is from India. We are not certain of the age but it shows some wear and the patina was left. The wood top has been waxed with a quality furniture wax and should be waxed occasionally as needed. The legs were made from square steel bar using a forge, anvil, hammer and vise. The scrolls were also forged in our shop and attached to the legs with rivets. Traces of the rivets were left to give the legs an "old school" look. There is a smoky tinted glass top included with table that was cut to fit in the carved out area. The table is approximately 35" tall, 32" wide and 14" deep. It weighs approximately 35 to 40 pounds. Had a good time working with the importer of the wood and making simple but ornate legs. Please contact us with shipping and handling options. I am a retired CPA who has a passion for working with metal. This chapter of my life started about 5 years ago and have attended various schools on blacksmithing.

My blacksmith business makes various items from candle holders and wine racks to repurposing wood by incorporating it into my metal projects. Metal projects begin with round, square and flat steel bar stock or sheet metal. The metal is cut then forged into shape using hammer, anvil, vise and other blacksmithing tools.

In 2014 I made a bench that was published in the "Anvil Ring", the artistic blacksmith national magazine.
