Live Edge Black Walnut And Steel Sofa Table
This gorgeous live edge black walnut table is the perfect addition to any entry way or living room. The steel frame is constructed using 1.25" square tubing with all weld joints smooth to a sleek shine. After each weld was carefully smoothed the entire frame received 4 coats of clear coat to prevent surface rusting and add a nice sheen. Leveling feet are added to each of the 4 legs allowing for a sturdy footing on all types of flooring. All walnut was locally harvested North Carolina black walnut from trees downed by mother nature. The live edge slab measures 5 ft long, 15" wide at its widest point and 11" wide at its narrowest point. The wood was finished using two coats of danish oil followed by 4 coats of dark bees wax to provide protection for years of use! This is the second piece of DCWoodwork's newest Custom Contemporary Industrial line with many more options to come including dining room tables, benches, media tables, head boards, end tables, and dressers. DC WoodWorks and Design, Inc. was founded by an engineering student (soon to be engineer) who always wanted to ensure his hobby of woodworking would be around.
We like to slow down the custom furniture and cabinet process. The guys talking to you on the phone and completing estimates will be the same guys that build your project and come to install it when completed.
The company lives by a simple motto… "We like to build cool furniture, and love creating heirlooms and friendships from the ideas our customers."
Our materials are exclusive to locally harvested lumber and reclaimed materials to turn out pieces that have as much character as craftsmanship.
