Chess Table

My goal was to create a table for chess play that would be just the right height and size for two players. It has chess themes. The knights are staring each other down on the side panels cut from 11 gauge steel. Plug welds look like rivets so there are no ugly screws or nuts. The drawers and top side panel are mahogany machined and hand rubbed with oil. The surface top is granite. Two drawers each have 16 compartments for pieces. I am working on the chairs but I envision sturdy comfortable steel chairs with leather seats and backrests cut and rolled steel featuring one king and one queen. This piece can be changed depending on your taste. Different wood, different top, different cut metal parts.
