Lay back and chill out with your favorite beverage, book, significant other or all 3! Custom Made to your specifications, this particular swing accepts a standard twin size mattress 39" x 75". Overall width is 94" x 40" deep x 19" high (backrest). Our swings are built locally in our shop in the foothills of North Carolina with hand picked, top quality lumber and superior craftsmanship! Built to last with NO NAILS anywhere! We use all zinc coated screws, powder coated lags & bolts, marine grade poly-coated 1 1/4" ship anchor rope. Made from western red cedar with 2 coats of marine grade spar urethane. We also offer the swings unfinished to allow you to save money and paint or stain the way you want! Seat cushion, bolster & throw pillows are custom made (any color/size) with Sunbrella outdoor fabric. You can buy these from us or supply your own. We can make any size swing out of any type of wood, but we do suggest a planning discussion before ordering. These are not your typical porch swings! They weigh more and cost more than the average swing. Therefore we highly suggest hiring a contractor or knowledgeable handyman to install the hooks and anchors properly. Exact location of hooks and anchors with proper support is CRUCIAL not only to guarantee that it hangs straight, but to also make sure you don't end up on your BUM! Please call or email before ordering as the size & style you want will effect the price. Our swings are shipped fully assembled and ready to hang! We can personally deliver within the triad area for an additional fee. The price is for the ready-to-hang swing only (as pictured) and does not include mounting hardware, rope or cushions. Prices will vary depending on what you want! All swings are custom made to order! We do not keep any in stock and right now build times are averaging 4-6 weeks depending on how busy we are. Please inquire about shipping costs before ordering! * SUMMER IS HERE and We Are BUSY! So please inquire about shipping times before ordering!

Located in the foothills of the North Carolina Appalachian Mountains, we have an unlimited supply of reclaimed and raw material for our rustic and not so rustic projects. Being an avid woodworker, a lot of my 27 + years of experience comes from being a general contractor restoring homes and businesses from fire and water damage. A few years back, I had a client who lost a family heirloom in a fire. The old "Jelly Cupboard", as the lady called it, was not salvageable and she was devastated as it had been her great grandmother's. I decided to attempt to build her another one and through charred remains and photographs, we were able to reproduce the cupboard to the client's satisfaction! As a matter of fact, she told me sometime later that no one knew the difference and thought it was the original one! I am very creative and have a perfectionist's eye toward detail as is reflected in my work. I also enjoy collaborating with others to create interesting works of art! We have been building custom works of art for close to twenty five years and frequent the craft show circuit as well as other venues for selling our products.
We only use the best materials (see descriptions) and when we can't find the right reclaimed material for use on a particular project, I will personally hand pick each piece from a lumber yard (Not Big Box stores) checking the integrity of each one for warping, grain patterns, moisture content etc. I also use unique techniques to give new wood a weathered or distressed look when required. We try to incorporate old metal and wood in some projects to create the most natural look possible while giving it that vintage appeal!
I look forward to working with you to design your next project. Let's build something!
