This was made with a desire to have an all natural-hinged box that was elegant and sturdy. It has a simple finger-joint design all made of aromatic red cedar. The hinge is made of hard Rock Maple for durability, but in the future I will use a better method to attached the hinges. The size is approximately 11" x 8 1/2" x 4 1/2". It is sanded and lightly stained with a tung-oil finish for a smooth feel.

I started working with wood as a kid just for fun but never anything worth mentioning. After observing my uncle and taking attending a few woodworking classes I really fell in love with the art. In the fall of 2014 I decided to embark on a new career path.
My first project was with nothing but a reciprocating saw to cut with. But as time went on I was able to invest in a much better machine that would get the work done that I need.
I own a small shop that provides enough room to get my work done. I make quality boxes and furniture, including cremation urns, cutting boards, bed frames, and more.
