Rosewood And Agate Serving Board

$245

The Rosewood used in this board is beautiful on it's own. I didn't want to lose the grain integrity by pairing it with other woods. I felt as though it would lose its appeal. These Agate Handles are definitely a compliment to the wood. This piece can be used as either a decorative board displayed in your home or as a functional serving board during the Holiday Season. This handcrafted Serving Tray is constructed from the finest Edge Grain of Honduran Rosewood. Each piece of wood is handpicked to ensure the highest quality of craftsmanship while bringing out the beauty of the wood grain. About This Edge Grain Board: All of our Boards are assembled with FDA approved materials and are sealed with natural beeswax and food-safe mineral oil leaving a silky wax barrier that locks in moisture to prevent drying and cracking. Items Used in this Board: Honduran Rosewood - Honduran rosewood is a highly sought after wood species from southern Belize, Guatemala and Mexico, due to it's rich red color and beautiful grain patterns. It is very dense and durable making it perfect for work in the kitchen. Agate - A semi-precious gemstone belonging to the Quartz family. the color patterns and banding make this stone very unique. Agates can have many different styles and patterns, but each Agate is unique in its own, with no two stone being the same. Dimensions 15.75" x 10.75" x .75"

She's Got Wood!

I began my creative journey at a young age always drawing, painting and assembling things. I visualize something in my head and then let my hands do the rest. I just recently started working with wood and found that it is my passion. I love everything about wood, from its appearance of the grain to the smell when it's being cut for the next project.

I have made a number of Cutting Boards, Butcher Blocks, and other crafty stuff for my friends and family. To my surprise, None of my boards have ever seen a knife. Instead they are displayed as a work of art. Recently, a friend suggested that I offer my works for sale and I thought… Why not??? I hope you enjoy my work.
