My summer months are spent commercial fishing in Bristol Bay, Alaska where I have the good fortune to have my family for crew.

My connection to woodworking extends back into my childhood. Forming an idea into a workable object has always brought me satisfaction. The entire process of taking an idea from one's mind and forming it into a shape brings great pleasure. I believe that the long term creative aspect of working with wood is not a destination, but rather part of a journey that continues to change as I move through life.
