Custom Rustic Cabinet
This primitive jelly cabinet can be finished in so many ways! If you would like a combination of stain and paint, or if you would like us to match a color for you, please contact us. Cabinet is made using reclaimed wood from various sources. Finish is matte in order to maintain the rustic patina. All of our furniture is handcrafted in our barn in Maine. Please keep in mind that this is reclaimed wood, not brand new lumber. The pie safes hold all of the rustic charm that entails. Pie safe measures: 48" tall, 35" wide, and approximately 12 1/2" deep. Please allow 3-4 weeks for shipping, usually sooner, but depends on our workload. Cabinet ships partially assembled with all necessary hardware and detailed assembly instructions. Holes will be pre-drilled. Please note, item ships flat using Fedex Home Delivery.

The Old Rusty Goat
We are a small Mom and Pop business specializing in simple farm house rustic style furniture. Everything is built by hand in our barn shop, and we re-purpose as much as possible. Most of our rustic wood is re-claimed barn wood or potato box wood. We also use some Amish milled wood.

Aug 4, 2020Great cabinet! Took me a pretty good chunk of time To put together but I got there. Previously the hardest thing to put together I ever did was an ikea book shelf. The Old Rusty Goat loves during this project so it was delayed a little bit I didn’t mind and they made sure to ship it for when I was home. I am having a small Issue with a couple of the drawers in the bottom half where they fit so tightly it can be hard to pull them out if you don’t pull exactly even on either side. I’m assuming this is a fault of my putting it together just ever so slightly off, I found through putting this together if you are off even a tad it just doesn’t go together lol I’ll figure it out eventually. I will say I had never ordered something like this before so didn’t really know how to communicate and while my questions were always answered I had to instigate most contact and had to inquire on how things were going.
