The Slat Bench is modeled after Hans Wegners Bar bench. Its made of walnut and finished with a high build lacquer. It could be use in an outdoor setting with the proper wood.

I have been designing and building furniture for over 20 years. I have a BFA in furniture design and studied furniture making at The Center for Furniture Craftsmanship. I worked for high end custom builders and designed contract furniture before starting my own business.
Blak Haus Furniture was established in 2013. We specialize in designing and building hand made custom furniture. We have a small but well equipped 1000 sqft shop nestled in the woods of Stacy Minnesota. We have built pieces for Major Defense Contractors, Hollywood Actors, Major Universities and everything in between. Our goal is to exceed the expectations of the client with every piece that is built.

Absolutely beautiful and has received numerous compliments. A work of art and furniture in one package. It's the focal point of our family room and we are extremely satisfied.

I think that shows dedication to the project and customer satisfaction. He is an excellent craftsman and I would work with him again.

He came back with a CAD drawing and ideas for the drawers and layout. His communication was fantastic and the project was finished on schedule. The craftsmanship is amazing!
