Segmented Wooden Soccer Ball
A unique centerpiece, gift or trophy that is commanding and subtle all at once. Handcrafted from exotic woods, each ball contains 32 individual pieces of wood that are high-precision cut from ¾ thick wood. After gluing and sanding, the ball is finished with multiple coats of polyurethane. My father and myself began making these back in the mid 1970's. Similar items have been made by the famous Malcolm Tibbets.
