A unique centerpiece, gift or trophy that is commanding and subtle all at once. Handcrafted from exotic woods, each ball contains 32 individual pieces of wood that are high-precision cut from ¾ thick wood. After gluing and sanding, the ball is finished with multiple coats of polyurethane. My father and myself began making these back in the mid 1970's. Similar items have been made by the famous Malcolm Tibbets. Size: Approximately regulation size with a 9.5 - 10 inch diameter Choice of Hardwoods as follows: #1: Soccer ball made from Purple Heart and Maple #2: Soccer ball made from Walnut and Maple (~ 10 inch diameter) Custom options are available and will be quoted upon request: Soccer ball lamp Soccer ball trophy Soccer ball with choice of woods
