Memorial Casket Flag W/Picture Frames
These are custom made Oak Casket Flag Display Cases. It has three frames the middle one is for an 8x10, and two 5x7 frames on each side. There is room to add your own memorabilia such as rank, medals, lapel pins or other such items. The back is removable, the glass is UV 1/8th plex and is permanently installed. There are no nails holding the corners, they are mitered and spline joined. It measures 26" wide x 24" tall x 3" deep and holds a 5x9 casket flag. I am a Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan Veteran and enjoy making them for other Vets. I have made several of these for other Vets and their families in the past two years I take great pride in my work and the prices are competitive for the quality of product. I am a Desert Storm, Iraq, and Afghanistan Veteran. I have been wood working most of my life. At 53 I was looking for something to do when I retire from my day job (Helicopter Mechanic). So I started building Memorial Flag Cases for fellow Veterans and their families.
I take great pride in crafting heirloom quality pieces that will last a life time. I try to use reclaimed urban lumber, (yard trees that were going to end up in the dump or fire wood). All the joinery is done the old fashion way, mortise & tenon, spline joints and so on.
