Flag And Certificate Display
These are custom made to order from Oak hardwood and hold a 3x5 flag and 8 1/2 x 11 certificate. I am a Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan Veteran and enjoy making them for other Vets. They are mitered and spline joined, and guaranteed to not come. I have made over 100 of these for other Vets and their families in the past two years and thought I would try Custom Made to reach more Vets. I am a Desert Storm, Iraq, and Afghanistan Veteran. I have been wood working most of my life. At 53 I was looking for something to do when I retire from my day job (Helicopter Mechanic). So I started building Memorial Flag Cases for fellow Veterans and their families.
I take great pride in crafting heirloom quality pieces that will last a life time. I try to use reclaimed urban lumber, (yard trees that were going to end up in the dump or fire wood). All the joinery is done the old fashion way, mortise & tenon, spline joints and so on.
