Red Box Elder Bowl
This unique, handcrafted Red Box Elder Bowl showcases rich red coloring and figuring with worm hole inclusions. This is a one of a kind gorgeous bowl with a hand wipes polyurethane finish and pure carnauba wax polish. Measures approximately 10 inches wide by 4.5 inches deep. The red box elder coloring offers a beautiful but rustic look and is hand turned. Each piece is branded with the Lazy River Woodwork logo on the bottom and is numbered and signed by the artist.

Down in the wood shop, you can find me handcrafting and turning unique wooden creations such as, lamps, serving trays, cutting boards, benches, and the like.
The wood I use for handcrafting is mostly reclaimed wood from Western Pennsylvania. I've been finding Cherry, Walnut, Flame Box Elder, and other local trees.
I try not to force the wood in becoming something, but rather listening to the wood and allowing it to become what it wants to be.
