Intarsia Woodwork Doors
I use different species of solid wood to create all of my intarsia projects. Each piece is hand picked to use the various natural colors and textures that each wood species has to offer. Some of my favorite species to use include, poplar, walnut, cherry, oak, and maple.I live in Virginia so these species are the easiest for me to get my hands on. I have many more pictures of designs that I created using this process, so if you would like to see more then just ask.

I am an artist specializing in Intarsia woodwork. I love to create custom doors, floor inserts, tables, counter tops, etc. Intarsia is a process that uses different species of wood to create the overall design. (No stains or paints are used) I also love to paint! I have completed hundreds of canvas paintings and also many wall murals.
I just recently started wood burning and found many uses for that skill as well.
