Table top is made from salvaged hardwood flooring from an old farmhouse. We stripped, cleaned, re-cut the slats, and joined them using a shiplap technique. The slats were stained various shades and finished with a water and light resisted urethane. The base is constructed in a modern baluster style with Maple.
The Lazarus Wood Project
"Reclaimed wood, Reborn with love"
Our motto says it all. We take the old, the dirty, the forgotten wood that sits in a pile, a downed tree, or on the side of dilapidated building, and transform it, exposing its inner beauty. Weather it's 200 year old barn wood or a board from a pallet, this wood has stood the rest of time and, after some love, will add warmth and longevity to your home.
We are a small workshop, just two of us actually. Half of us is an artist at heart, the other half is a lifelong craftsman. Between the two of us, you can rest assured that each piece is built and handled with the precision of a master builder and the eye of an artist.
