I became interested in tools and working with metal at a very young age after my buddies and I started customizing our bicycles in my dad's garage. I have always had a passion for knives and by age 10 I made my first knife out of an old Nicholson metal file, which I stil have to this day.

Just a few short years later, at 16, I bought my first VW and began stripping it down and rebuilding it. That's when I knew that I had a calling in metal fabrication. After graduating high school I joined the US Army, there I was exposed to aviation which drove me to obtain my Airframe & Powerplant licence, which later led to me becoming a private pilot.

Still with the desire to create within me I used what I learned early on about machining and welding to start a metal fabrication business. For many years I catered primarily to the housing industry until our economy declined, forcing me back to my aviation roots. While working in the aviation industry I took a long look at my life and realized that it was time to start pursuing my true passion, knife making.

In 2013, with the help and encouragement from my lovely wife, Carrie, we began construction of our new shop. Fully equipped with all a knifemaker could ever need. We are a family run shop, my wife, our children and myself. Our family takes pride in the workmanship and the quality of our products.
