Custom Wooden Plaque
We can make plaques and signs in whatever shape you'd like, with text, pictures, or logos engraved or carved. A variety of materials can be used. We'll work with you and send you proofs so it will be just the way you want it. This custom guitar shaped plaque was commissioned by the members of a musical ensemble for their director, in the shape of his Gibson guitar, 28" long. It's made out of white oak, engraved, with a little bit of stain applied to the engraving, and finished with a spar urethane for outdoor durability. We included hardware for mounting on a wall. The "Family" plaque was made to commemorate a birth, and is engraved and carved into solid cherry. The footprints are carved in 3D from a scan of the baby's actual footprints. Nathan Epp
Three Trees Workshop
We’re a husband-and-wife team based in Warrensburg, Missouri. We’re both from the Midwest, but we met in Uganda while serving as Peace Corps Volunteers. We love exploring, soaking in the beauty of the natural world, and getting to know the people and cultures we encounter along the way.
We use high quality local Missouri hardwoods and eco-friendly finishes to minimize our environmental impact. We also plant a tree for every item we sell!
Nathan has a background in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, and is a lifelong woodworker. He is excited about our full time creative pursuit based on his love for creating and woodworking and our desire to make beautiful, useful things.
Cynthia offers input into the design process and manages orders and other details. We look forward to working with you!
