Carved Cribbage Board In Walnut Or Cherry Wood
Cribbage is a fun card game in which players keep score by moving pegs around a track on the board. This full size 121-hole board has tracks for two players. The lid opens to allow storage for pegs and a standard deck of cards. The carving around the edges of this board reflects a pattern traditionally used by the Swahili people of coastal Kenya in intricate wood carvings. We gained an appreciation for the beautiful Swahili carvings on doors and furniture while we lived on the Kenyan coast for a while. We’re a husband-and-wife team based in Warrensburg, Missouri. We’re both from the Midwest, but we met in Uganda while serving as Peace Corps Volunteers. We love exploring, soaking in the beauty of the natural world, and getting to know the people and cultures we encounter along the way.
We use high quality local Missouri hardwoods and eco-friendly finishes to minimize our environmental impact. We also plant a tree for every item we sell!
Nathan has a background in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, and is a lifelong woodworker. He is excited about our full time creative pursuit based on his love for creating and woodworking and our desire to make beautiful, useful things.
