Working with Doug McPherson was an absolute pleasure. From start to finnish he communicated every step of the way. Delivery was perfect…finished table was magnificent….Highly recommen this wonderful artist…his visions in wood are truly magical..

It's always risky when you hire some total stranger online for some custom pieces, since you can't be there to touch and examine the products. Photos can be difficult to gauge the skills of the hands behind the objects of the photos. This small project turns out to be exemplary. The chopping block and knife strip are well made, with attention to details. It's obvious McPherson took a lot of pride in his craft. And most of all, he was responsive in communication, and was able to offer suggestions when we made a drastic change and decided to go for an end grain chopping block and stripped pattern knife strip. With some exchanges of phone calls, texts, and photos, the products were made, and a couple of days later turned up at my porch, well packed and out to be beyond my expectation.

Overall, this has been a very positive experience. The worst part: I may end up ordering some more pieces…. oops.

From start to finish, the process was smooth and effortless. There was clear communication throughout the project and the end product was exactly what I wanted. Can't ask for better.

Love our custom made hall table ?. Never ordered from CustomMade or Doug before, so we were skeptical. We specified the width and color. He communicated with messages and pictures on the progress of the table. It is so beautiful! And Doug had the table hand delivered to us in N J.
