Sculpted Bench
Grab a seat with this comfortable bench. The seat is carved creating a sloped seat which is more comfortable to sit on for long periods of time. The front edge is also shaped to follow the back of your legs without digging into them. The legs are set into the ends of the bench and is shaped into the seat. The handles help make it easier to move the bench around and adds to the Organic/Asian feel to the bench. With the handles and legs shaped into each other and into the seat it creates a continuous flow with beautiful lines. The bench can be made of Curly Maple, Quilted Moabi, or Walnut. Lengths range from 30" in length to 80". The bench can be made to have the seat sitting 16" to 19" off the ground. The handles sit another 4" above the seat creating a total height of 20" to 23". The depth of the bench is 12.75" which provides plenty of room to sit comfortably. The bench is a perfect addition to the foot of any bed which adds a spot to sit down and put your socks and shoes on in the morning. Adding it to a living room adds both a conversation piece and extra seating when you have more guest over. All benches are sanded to 400 grit before being finished. Four coats of a custom oil blend is applied with each coat being allowed to dry before adding another layer. Another two coats of a oil/wax finish is then added with both coats being rubbed into the piece helping to soften the feel of the piece and protect it. The end result of this process a very smooth feeling bench where the figure stands out and is enhanced.

Lavelle Woodworking Studio is a furniture company that makes custom pieces to order ranging from tables to chairs and all the way to small trinkets. We are a full service company that works with clients on the design, educating them on the construction methods, finish options, and wood types, building the pieces to spec, and handling all the shipping requirements. We also offer a white glove service that will hand deliver and set up your new furniture.
Our philosophy centers around 'Quality Products and Knowledge' what we mean by that is we pride ourselves on going the extra mile and taking our time so we can pay attention to the small details. We will not deliver a product that does not live up to our standards and will work quickly to rectify any issues. We also want to educate potential clients during the initial contact all the way through to the delivery on the process that goes into making their custom piece. What types of woods and finish will work for their projects. Providing color samples on the wood that will be used for their project so a more informed decision can be made. We provide information on how the wood will act over time and how to care for each piece.
