This may be one of the most comfortable stools you will ever sit in. The entire design is based around a persons comfort while sitting for long periods in it. The seat is carved in a what that invites a person to slide all the way back so their back is resting on the back rest with their feet resting gently on the foot rest. The front edge of the seat is shaped so it follows the back of the leg rather than creating a sharp point that will cut into it, cutting off circulation. You will be able to sit in this stool for hours with little to no fatigue. The back rest hits the lumbar region providing the optimal amount of support. If you do not like the shape of this back rest there are several other designs for you to choose from. Every part of this stool is designed for comfort with every piece hand shaped into each other creating a seamless transition from part to part. A great example of this is with the back rest shaped into the back leg. The entire back part of the back rest is curved going from side to side and from top to bottom with back leg shaped using a rasp, file, sandpaper to shape it and bring the back rest right into the leg. Ebony plugs are used to provided an aesthetic quality along with covering the few screws that are used in the stool. There are two screws in each leg that go into the seat creating a 'V' shape. This along with the already durable and strong leg joint, ensure that the leg will not come off of the seat at all. The other screws are used to add further strength to the joints ensuring they last for generations. We are a full service company that works with clients on the design, educating them on the construction methods, finish options, and wood types, building the pieces to spec, and handling all the shipping requirements. We also offer a white glove service that will hand deliver and set up your new furniture.
