This was on ornamental style fireplace mantle that I build and install for a client that had his fireplace converted from a wood burning fireplace to a Gas log unit. The opening of the fireplace provide a starting point for the design. A drawing was created so we could determine the overall width and height so the mosaic file could be fit from top to bottom and side to side without leaving having a cut tile piece. The price for this listing is only for the painted Mantle and side legs. If you want this design, I would create a drawing for your fireplace and then build your project. The mantle would be delivered to you in three sections, that you could screw together from the back side. I can deliver unpainted or paint for an additional fee.

For over 30 years, I have built custom furniture for customers, friends and family. I take pride in each and every one of my woodworking projects. I use both traditional joinery methods and modern techniques in the construction of my pieces, which allows me to tailor the features I design for my clients. I always offer premium material and finish choices for each project, so my customers can match their existing decor or select a striking contrast.
I focus on the Craftsman and Arts and Crafts styles but have experience with Shaker, modern, and many other aesthetics.
My custom home remodeling business has afforded me unique opportunities to build custom furniture for my client's homes. In addition to designing and creating sets of cabinets for particular spaces, I have built fireplace mantles, corner seating, entertainment centers, custom mirrors, and outdoor furniture.
Some of the other Custom Projects I have built include:
Grandfather and mantle clocks
Musical instruments
Mantle Clocks
Jewelry Boxes
High Chairs
End Tables
Wooden Children's toys
Speakers
Entertainment centers
As a one man shop, my design process starts with the concept for the piece I am planning. I create sketches, drawings, and 3D models to capture the details of the design. On contract projects, I meet with the customer to make sure that they are seeing the features that make sense to them. Next, I select the raw material, usually starting with raw lumber. Then I begin the construction of the piece. After the assembly is complete, I finish the work to match the customer's wishes.
