Carefully dried, then soaked in Polymerized Walnut Oil (contains no allergen proteins). The Amber color comes from the Japanese Aburanuki heat treating process I use. This hardens the bamboo & makes it more crack resistant. It also improves the tone and balances response. Tied with ultra strong Chinese Knotting Cord bindings. Finished off with a Museum Quality Wax & polished to a nice luster. All this 'extra' work ensures that your flute will last as long as you, maybe longer.
