Visit www.firecreekforge.com for our latest knives This is a unique blade forged of one piece of spring steel. It is reminiscent of the patch knife that was carried in muzzle loading rifle kit, to neatly trim the patch during the loading process. This knife undergoes an extensive heat treat process to ensure a quality blade for skinning, utility, or other use. This knife is available with a hand stitched leather sheath. Each knife is handmade and no two are exactly alike. Blade is about 3.75" long and over all length is about 7.25"

All knives unless other wise expressly stated are made to order, one of a kind pieces. They will closely resemble what is pictured.

Fire Creek Forge (home of Elijah Williams Knives) provides quality, one of a kind custom made knives and metal items, hand made from scratch.

I have been making knives for about 20 years. I first got into it after reading a book on knife making at my library, and I taught myself from there, gleaning information from other books, and the web.

Building knives was a good match for another early interest of mine, the outdoors, woods, and back country. I love the idea of being able to walk into a trackless wilderness with only a good knife, and have the skills to live comfortably. I haven't quite reached that level, but I continue to study and practice these skills today, and it serves well to inform my blade design and construction.

I also began forging some years back, and I enjoy making useful and decorative items with the simple and old methods of working iron and steel.
