There were some delays (some unavoidable) but the craftsman kept in constant contact with me when I emailed him, and would usually return emails within three hours or less. In my communications with him I found him to be honest, straightforward, and easy to understand. When I received the knife and sheath they were both in good order and ready to go to work, but there were some things I wanted changed. I contacted the craftsman, explained what I wanted done, shipped them both back to him, and he made the changes I requested and shipped them back. I now have the knife I wanted, and I got it the way I wanted it. I will order from this craftsman again,

This knife is a true piece of art and masterfully crafted. I am extremely happy with the finished product and would order another piece from the maker any day of the week.

Over all I am very pleased with the knife, although I just received it and haven't had a chance to put it to the test I'm certain it will preform whenever and wherever I use it. I was pleasantly surprised that a knife of that size and robust blade thickness isn't half as heavy as it looks. The craftsmanship and quality materials put into this knife almost guarantees its longevity, thanks to Elijah Williams and Fire Creek Forge... Good Job Bill T. of Alaska...

I have been a fan of the "Sharp Finger" style of hunting knife for many years. This style is small, compact to carry, perfect for any camp duty that may arise. But skinning is where it excells! Williams' hand made version is true to form with a quality build on classic materials. Love the antler scales. Perfect blade. I'm a fan.

Was super excited to get the handmade Elk handle skinner, super sharp and I know since its handmade its one of a kind. I would order another Williams Built knife and plan on doing so in the future!!

I haven’t had a chance to use my skinning knife yet but I have gave it a good inspection and this is a beautiful piece. Simple and elegant with excellent fit and finish. Sent pics to a few buddies in the know on this stuff and they all wanted to know who the maker was. Especially when they heard the price! Not a lot of communication but all accurate and timely. Can’t wait to put it to work!

The matching set was perfect. My daughter loved hers and we opened all of the rest of the presents with our new tools.

I ordered the Mountain Bushcraft hunting knife. After I placed the order it took several weeks for the build and then a couple of days for delivery. It was defiantly worth the wait. Everything about it was spot on. As the old saying goes, You can't rush perfection. If you have time to wait and want a Great quality knife that will last, I would highly recommend Elijah Williams to build you a knife. I will defiantly be placing another order in the future. Elijah is by far the nicest and easiest and professional person let alone artisans I've ever worked with. His attention to detail is amazing. He doesn't just make the product he's a part of it with his collaboration and experience. I wanted a Zombie killing knife that when plunged into their head came through with enough blade left to put an apple on.When I received my knife it was exactly that and more. I was so impressed I nearly soiled myself. The attention to detail was amazing, fare nicer than I anticipated. I can't believe the amount of work that went into this knife for the price I paid was incredible. I would highly recommend that you place your order right away and get in on the ground floor prices now. I see Elijah taking off and your going to be on a long waiting list.
