Christian is a third-generation woodworker local to Rhode Island. At twelve he began working alongside his father restoring historic New England homes, and quickly discovered a passion for preserving and repurposing antique materials. Today he makes handcrafted furniture, artisan interiors, cabinetry and fixtures from reclaimed antique, vintage, and industrial materials. His work displays a dedication to detail, the unique qualities of the wood and metal are carefully revealed through the informed use of high quality finishes. He loves to learn and experiment with new materials and techniques. Always testing if something will work or look better. He strives for clean innovative designs. His sourcing explorations take him into old barns and farmsteads, historic estates, warehouses and industrial sites across the Northeast. Always on the hunt for that perfect piece of the puzzle.
