Dough Boxes were used in the early 1900s to place baking dough in to let it rise before putting it into an oven to bake. These boxes can be used to put childrens toys in, store blankets or personal items, and anything else imagined.

I have been making furniture and building projects my whole life from skills I learned from my dad. I currently am building distressed steamer trunks which look old but are new. We also construct dough boxes from old barn wood and are in the process of making caster coffee tables out of the same barn wood. I would consider it an honor to personally make you one or all of these items if you would like. If you have an idea of something you would like me to build you, please let me know.

Linda Marshall
For Linda's BenchI was looking for a custom designed product to replace a wooden porch bench that had experienced too many Chicago winters. The design was unique and I was hoping to find someone with the skill, talent and patience to make a product that would match my old, but very much loved bench. That hope became a reality through the excellent craftsmanship I discovered with Terry of Heartland Creations. He work is exceptional. He is detailed and a delight to work with. I could not be more pleased.
