Meadow Dancers
I love this stained glass piece…it is full of joy and happiness as two women dance together in a spring meadow. It suggests to me a long friendship, good news and the warmth of sunshine after a long winter. The panel is 16 1/4 inches tall and 14 inches wide. Clear textured glass with corner bevels frames the scene. I used 10 different kinds of glass from several manufacturers for the main focal point; most of it is opalescent glass with a few cathedral glass highlights on the women's yellow and violet gowns. The sky was carefully cut from a single piece of glass so that the natural pattern of the glass was not interrupted, making for a nice continuous flow of colors. The piece is framed in zinc for lasting strength and I painted the zinc black to match the dark patina on the solder. The price shown is for the piece pictured which is available for immediate shipment. It can be resized and recolored and a new price quoted.

My passion is stained glass and I have been working at it for 15 years. The copper foil method associated most closely with Tiffany lamps is what I do because it allows for the delicacy and detail that I prefer.
I was trained years ago by two older gentlemen who had worked for decades in the field doing mostly custom work. It took many years to perfect my cutting and soldering techniques and I did not begin selling to the public until I could be proud of the art that I produced.
I enjoy doing custom panels, working primarily from photos supplied by you, the purchaser. I also offer a variety of ready made pieces for sale.
