Jewelry Chest
The jewelry chest is made from sapele with crab apple veneer and panels. The crab apple was wood that I harvested from my yard, dried and processed. The design emphasizes usable space that includes drawers and side cabinets for neckless.

Bench and Blade
I design and make furniture in my one man shop using both domestic and exotic woods and veneers to create functional, touchable pieces that showcase the beauty and warmth of wood. Using traditional joinery and best practices, my pieces are handmade, often one of a kind, heirloom quality statements of craftsmanship.
I am retired military and used the GI Bill to follow my hobby of woodworking and interest in design to the Professional Craft in Wood program at Haywood Community College. Two of my projects were selected as finalists in the International Woodworking Fair Design Competition.
Our home is the curator of several pieces of furniture, some made by family members, that we will pass on our children and grandchildren as part of our family's legacy. My desire is to do the same for others.
