The stand out feature in this live edge coffee table is the spalted maple slab that makes up the top. Butterfly joints and dutch patches to fix cracks stabilize any cracks and imperfections while letting the beautiful figure and spalting in the maple stand on its own. The slab sits on a black walnut base with mid-century style spindle legs. Finished with a water based polyurethane for long lasting protection.
