Rustic Live Edge Cedar Shelving

$2,500

Here is an example of our custom cedar shelving that we built for a client of ours outside of Knoxville, Iowa. Mr Hugh's enjoys going on tractor rides with his friends every summer and decided to purchase an enclosed trailer to make his travels a little easier. He hired us to build him a shelving unit in the front of the trailer so he can store his necessary supplies but yet be appealing. A few months earlier he had a cedar tree that took some serious storm damage on his property that he and his wife planted 56 years ago or better that we harvested for them and turned it into this shelving. The size of this unit is approximately 8' wide x 6' tall x 24" deep with two shelves. A unit similar to this would look great as bookshelves or a display case as well.

Hello,

I am Harrison A. Carter I have been working with wood products for 20 years now. I admit this is not what I had in mind coming out of high school but it called to me, what started as a summer job turned into an enjoyable career.

I salvage trees that have either been removed from farm fields, front yards that have been damaged from storms or ones that have died from natural causes and turn them into gorgeous lumber to be used in our projects. Most of these trees would be rejected from larger milling companies and turned into firewood or just piled up and doused with diesel and burnt.

Tree2Trim handles every aspect of building these pieces. From harvesting the tree, to crafting the finished product. I can either use Heirloom trees that have been on a family farm or your back yard and turn them into Heirloom furniture pieces for your family to cherish for years to come. Or you can chose from our selection of lumber that I have on hand.
