Handcrafted from Start to Finish

It's weird how I got started in this hobby turned business, but one day I found myself perusing the Internet in search of a deep seated outdoor bench for our family gatherings. My style is a mix of Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware and West Elm but my budget is more beer than top shelf tequila!

Well that's when I got the wild idea to build the bench myself, so I quickly sketched out a rough drawing and started building. It took me a few days to complete but the end result was AMAZING! I surprised myself and from then on I wanted to learn more. I enrolled in some classes at the local Woodcraft store to enhance my skills. I've grown so much since my first build 6 years ago and with each new project I try to challenge myself to go the extra mile.

My goal at Lumberluxe is to create quality, long-lasting furniture that looks like it cost you thousands but actually is only a fraction of the cost.

Kristol was so easy to work with and was so quick to respond to my hundreds of questions and concerns. I took a leap of faith since this was our first piece of custom furniture and my husband and I were so delighted with the end product. I would definitely recommend Lumberluxe!
