ARTwood creates handcrafted, beautiful, sustainably-sourced wood home furnishings that satisfy your style, soul and wallet. We sell our own designs or work with you to create the piece of your dreams. Everything from cutting boards and candles, to benches and tables, to multi-media centers and indoor/outdoor coolers--we make it all happen!
The majority of ARTwood's lumber derives from New Jersey trees felled by Hurricane Sandy. In tragedy, we saw beauty--collecting fallen trees from friends and neighbors in our Sparta community and beyond.
Owner Bruce Lemler spent his boyhood woodworking on his family's Wisconsin dairy farm, then moved on to receive professional training, and eventually formed ARTwood in Sparta, NJ. He's been profiled in newspapers, magazines, e-zines and even radio podcasts.
