We created and mounted this 3" thick reclaimed countertop with overhang for barstools on top of repurposed dresser to create a one of a kind kitchen island. The countertop was designed with capped ends and sealed with a semi-gloss finish. We have access to virtually all species of wood, whether reclaimed, FSC milled, slabs, rounds or live edge.

Hello, my name is Nick. I am a professional woodworker as well as a full time student at Austin Community College enrolled in the Metal Arts & Sculpture program.

I created CHA0S CREATIONS to be a full service design and fabrication company with a focus on custom tables, platform beds, lighting, wall accents and sculptures.

I contacted Nick to make an old slab of wood into a table. The slab was dirty and warped, and Nick did a great job of cleaning it up and flattening it. We got him to make some simple and clean steel legs, which came out pretty much exactly as we imagined. The table is both sturdy and visually impressive. Nick was professional, friendly, and thorough, asking lots of questions to make sure he could meet our expectations. He was very communicative throughout the process, providing updates and photos along the way. We are very happy with the process and results of our project with Nick.
