Michael Xander is a woodworker and artist living and working in Philadelphia. Michael graduated from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a Bachelors in Fine Arts and has shown his work throughout the city. Before starting his company Michael began as a builder, then fine tuned his skills working for high end woodworking companies in New York and Philadelphia who provided pieces for celebrities, international corporations, fashion week, and boutique stores.
Michael designs and builds custom furniture and pieces. He uses a mixture of reclaimed and newer milled lumber depending on the client's ideas. With each client, I develop a working relationship so that we can deliver a piece of furniture that is both functional and beautiful. I work with many materials that correspond with different clients' budgets and tastes.

For Custom Bathroom Vanity5.0Very, very happy with my bathroom cabinet. Micheal is very easy to work with. In my request I included pictures of styles I was looking for but the cabinet had to be a specific dimensions and color. Some questions and ideas came up, which were easily answered using email (my preference). He came up with a style that met all my requirements. The color stain, wood sealer for a high humid bathroom, also a extra touch he used self closing hinges. Another bonus to me, since he is located in my city, no additional shipping charge. It was great to meet the builder of the cabinet. Michael fulfilled my project in time and I would definitely recommend him should you need anything custom made.
