Commemorative Custom Sheath
This was a great project to commemorate the military service of this client and his father. Incorporated coin medallion as well as tanned moose hide for the fringe. Tooling design is the classic Oak Leaf and Acorn pattern with a pebble finish for the background. Dye is Spanish Brown and a leather balm finish.

I am a custom wood and leatherworker.
I produce custom wood turnings, bowls and platters, up to 13.5" in diameter. These turnings are from green, locally sourced, materials that capture the beauty of what nature provides us. One of my favorite projects is to take logs from a favorite tree from someone's yard that perhaps fell during a storm, or they had to sacrifice due to age or encroachment on property and turn them into a treasure for that person to remember their tree forever.
I enjoy leather crafting and have made several instrument straps, holsters/sheaths, Bible/book covers and other utilitarian projects for multiple uses.
