in 1988 I began a venture into neon, and have been "gainfully unemployed" since then . I primarily make neon art, and signage with an emphasis upon design. Over the years we have made numerous sculptures, clocks, and signs.
My education includes a BFA in painting, but quickly enjoyed the challenges of incorporating light in to my works, so i stroke out to the world of neon lighting.
I have worked on many TV commercial and film projects. Most notable the neon for the Coen Bros. " A Serious Man." (Te Jolly Roger Motel )

One of my favorite clients is the Science Museum of MN, who have challenged my creativity and design over the years. The most unique a animated rain cloud and flashing lightning bolt. over 10' long.
My emphasis is towards the aesthetic, my passion is fine design, my challenge is creating form with the linear line of neon glass tubing. I have been commissioned form coast to coast in the US for works both corporate and private collections.
I enjoy the design process, and work to make my clients happy.
