Cigar Box Fiddle
Using an old violin neck, I mount it to a cigar box and dress it up fancy. Piezo disk harness under the bridge provides added "Mojo". Hand brushed shellac varnish finish rounds it off.

My hand rubbed finishes are Old school traditional shellac varnish, in both brushed & French polish, and polyurethane.
I use a lot of recovered & re-purposed wood in my builds, and my preferred Tone wood is Florida Bald Cypress. I have a stock of 100+ year old naturally seasoned recovered cypress barn wood.
