Sony's Portable Pocket Televisions, which were introduced in 1982 and discontinued in 2000, set the stage for the current phones that rule our lives. Depending on your age, you either were lucky enough to own one of these, or, you're feeling lucky enough not to have lived in the Dark Ages. We've up-cycled this 1985 model into a unique mini light by wiring it to take a small bulb, which is included with the lamp. -- Vintage Sony Watchman Television lamp -- Lamp is 6 1/2 inches long x 3 inches wide x 1 1/2 inches deep when flat and 4 1 2 inches high when stand is up. -- Regular base socket - 15 watt max.
