Sony's Portable Pocket Televisions, which were introduced in 1982 and discontinued in 2000, set the stage for the current phones that rule our lives. Depending on your age, you either were lucky enough to own one of these, or, you're feeling lucky enough not to have lived in the Dark Ages.
